IMPORTANCE OF THE WOOD AS SOURCE OF WEALTH AND WELFARE

The forest is a renewable, natural resource and with an unquestionable importance for the national economy.
In recent years, higher attention has been given to wood products due to the critical importance of the forest in maintaining a balanced climate.
Due to its attractive attributes of resistance, hygiene, beauty and comfort, the wood has been preferred over other building materials, even in a context of serious environmental criticism.



The wooden floors should be highlighted by the following characteristics:

- the welfare that they provide, being natural products do not cause allergies;
- the comfort, the wood has inherently good acoustic and thermal insulating properties ;
- the beauty, the wide range of coverings allows the conception of different wood floors;
- the durability, solid wood products are resistant to shock and scratching.



The company has a permanent concern on the selection of raw materials, a straight internal control of the output quality, an updating and modernization of the equipment associated to the output and the workers formation by specialized technical teams.

The ecological management is a dominant worry in the company. Special emphasis is being given to a variety of investments and actions that have been taken out in order to guarantee the total fulfilment of the environmental norms and the safeguard of the security, health and hygiene at the work. Thus, it is important to highlight the most recent investments operated in terms of the improvement and modernization of the vacuum cleaning system in all the industrial area, and in terms of a more efficient utilization of the raw material, as scarce resource, building a production system to recycle the waste transforming it in secondary products, pellets for using in boilers to produce energy.
